Terms of Use and Community Guidelines for training, contribution, and platform behavior.

1. Acceptable use

By using the platform, you agree to use it respectfully, lawfully, and for legitimate educational, training, and community purposes.

You must not:

  • attempt to access accounts, admin tools, private data, or systems you are not authorized to access
  • abuse announcements, notifications, tags, reports, reviews, ratings, contribution systems, or gym features
  • submit false, misleading, malicious, spammy, or abusive content
  • harass, threaten, impersonate, or target other users
  • upload, submit, or share harmful, illegal, or abusive content
  • attempt to disrupt the platform, bypass limits, exploit bugs, or interfere with reliability
  • misuse platform data, user information, or community access

2. Account responsibility

You are responsible for activity on your account.

Keep your Google account and connected accounts secure. If you believe your account or platform access has been compromised, contact us.

3. Competitive-programming integrity

The platform is intended to support learning and fair competitive-programming training.

You must not use the platform to:

  • misrepresent your identity, handles, achievements, or training activity
  • manipulate tags, reports, reviews, ratings, solves, contribution points, or leaderboards
  • submit malicious or dishonest reports
  • share private contest or training material where sharing is prohibited
  • undermine fair training, contest integrity, or community trust

4. Content and contributions

You may contribute profile information, tags, reviews, ratings, reports, and other platform content.

By submitting content, you allow the platform to use, display, moderate, retain, and maintain that content as part of the platform and community.

We may remove, hide, correct, or moderate content that is inaccurate, harmful, abusive, spammy, malicious, private, or harmful to the platform or community.

5. Admin and moderation actions

Admins and authorized helpers may take action to protect the platform and community, including:

  • removing or correcting harmful or inaccurate content
  • accepting, dismissing, or handling reports
  • limiting abusive behavior
  • disabling or suspending accounts
  • sending platform announcements
  • investigating suspicious activity
  • preserving records needed for security, audit, moderation, or platform integrity

6. External services

The platform may link to or use external services, including Google, Codeforces, VJudge, Cloudflare, Google Cloud, and email providers.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, availability, policies, or content. You should review the relevant third-party policies when using those services.

7. Platform availability

We try to keep the platform reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Features may change, break, be limited, or be removed as the platform evolves.

8. Violations

Violating these terms or abusing the platform may result in content removal, loss of privileges, account restrictions, suspension, or other moderation actions.

Community Guidelines

ICPC Assiut is intended to support learning, training, and useful community contribution.

Please:

  • be respectful
  • help others learn
  • keep contributions accurate and useful
  • report problems honestly
  • avoid spam and low-quality submissions
  • respect contest and training integrity
  • avoid submitting sensitive personal information
  • respect admin and moderation decisions

Do not:

  • harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse others
  • submit malicious reports or false information
  • manipulate contribution systems
  • expose private information about yourself or others
  • attempt to bypass platform permissions or security
  • use the platform to harm the community
